Collaborations
I do some of my most rewarding work in community with others, exploring similar questions as we co-create new approaches to change.
I am a Co-Founder and Co-Director of Root. Rise. Pollinate! In 2020, Kristen Zimmerman, Rufaro Gwarada and I launched this community of practice to deepen and nourish feminist changemakers' visions for a future rooted in collective thriving. Through training, coaching and applied experiments, RRP! helps them to embody that future. We engage intergenerational, transnational groups in creative, contemplative, and body-based practices to:
-
Increase awareness of habits and conditioned tendencies in order to interrupt and shift them
-
Generate stories and vision of thriving that advance a narrative and worldview shift
-
Cultivate liberating relationships, collaborations, and multi-racial community
-
Align actions and strategy with values and purpose
-
Learn adaptively and resolve conflict
-
Move together with more ease and joy
I am an Associate with Gender at Work, a global network that moves in partnership with activists and researchers to bring together new knowledge on deep structures of inequality and discriminatory social norms, with innovative approaches and tools to transform them in organizations and communities.
